Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal

If you are a victim of a crime in Ireland, you may be entitled to compensation through the Criminal Injuries Compensation Tribunal (CICT). This State-funded scheme provides financial support and compensation to people who have experienced physical and/or psychological injury because of a criminal act. While the process is designed to assist victims, it can feel complex, technical, and overwhelming, especially at a time when you are already dealing with the impact of what happened.

Our firm is here to guide you through every step.

Victim Compensation

When you contact us, we will assess your situation, explain your eligibility, and help you prepare a strong, well supported application. The Tribunal requires detailed documentation, including medical reports, Garda records, receipts, and evidence of financial loss. We ensure that your claim is presented clearly, accurately, and within the required time limits so that you have the best possible chance of a successful outcome.

We also advise on appeals, loss-of-earnings claims, and situations where the Tribunal requests further information. Our role is to remove the stress from the process and advocate on your behalf from start to finish.

If you believe you may have a claim, or if you are unsure and simply want to discuss your options, please contact our office. We are committed to helping victims of crime access the support and compensation they deserve.
